Hong Chin Veterans Futbol Club ( HCV.FC) was officially formed on the 1st of October 2009. The team was actually formed few years back and have been active since then. HCV.FC was teamed up and manage by a bunch of veteran players from the Hong Chin FC football team. Most of our players are ex hong chin players, friends and boys from brickfields,those ex players were basically "demoted" from the senior squad into the touchball team or what we call the social team( non active player or weekend footballers) : p

During the january transfer window, HCV.FC manage to make few major signings from the touchball team to beef up the defence and strengthen the strike force. Transfer fee were undisclosed ( but what we heard was players come over under FREE transfer and no money was paid since the players majority are old and expired players hehehehe they came over willingly) . Former players made a come back too like Zamani, Mani Seelan(Menteri),Kathe, Yap, Gobi and Shahrul just to name a few.

HCV.FC players basically trains and play football daily in the YMCA football field. ( sorry let me correct the statement, we dont train daily. we play only when there is no rain and enough kaki hehehehe) We use YMCA football field as our homeground, but since the field have been closed up , our daily evening football game have been less and players finding it difficult to get their daily-fix of football game going. Nevertheless YMCA field have been serving HCV.FC very well, last years homeground game result was encouraging 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 abandon game( arguement broke-out half way hehehehehhe) Clean sheet in our homeground.




Therefore since the set up of the HONG CHIN VETERANS FUTBOL CLUB , many players were happy and excited because here is where we organise veteran friendly games with other social team twice a month. And besides for the former players to show off their evergreen skills, here they have the opportunity to catch up with their old pals and share the stories of the old Hong Chin team with the youngsters. Everytime when we heard the story bout our past former greats from Hong Chin,we were very proud to be a part of the team. And its a privillege to play for a great team like HONG CHIN FC. Therefore in HCV.FC our goal is to bring back all the good memories of HONG CHIN and gather back all the former players,current players, future players, friends,family and supporters to become as 1 family member of the HONG CHIN FC.

Once again we would like to invite more former players ,friends and local boys to join us and make this club a home for everyone.
